AluSil 100
NanoCeramic Passivation System
AluSil 100 was designed as a surface modifier for aluminum substrates used in marine environment. The ultra-thin (100-200nm), inert shield provides a more scratch and wear resistant surface together with repelling properties. These properties impair the absorption of moisture, salts and chlorides. Additionally the passivation provides an extended shield against galvanic corrosion and electrolysis. The organo modified nano-ceramic formula becomes one with the substrate resulting in a higher grade, longer lasting material.
AluSil 500
Hybrid passivation for Marine Aluminum
AluSil 500 was designed and formulated as a surface modifier/coating for aluminum hulls, pontoon bullets and other marine aluminum surfaces. Applied as a clear, alcohol-like solution, it reacts with the free ions on/in the aluminum and cures to a chemically bonded, glass-like surface with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. This integrated shield minimizes oxidation, staining and impairs the adhesion of scum and microorganisms on the aluminum. It does not etch or change the physical appearance of the aluminum except providing a higher sheen and depth.
AluSil 1000
Clear Siloxane Coating for Marine Aluminum
AluSil 1000 was designed and formulated as a thin-film coating for aluminum hulls, pontoon bullets and other marine aluminum surfaces. Applied as a clear, alcohol-like solution, it reacts with the free ions on/in the aluminum and cures to a chemically bonded, glass-like yet flexible surface with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. This strongly bonded shield provides high gloss, minimizes oxidation, staining and impairs the adhesion of scum and microorganisms on the aluminum. It does not etch or change the physical appearance of the aluminum except providing a higher sheen and depth. AluSil 1000 provides a slightly thicker surface-shield than AluSil 500. This may be necessary when there is a structured profile on the substrate that needs evening out or whenever a thicker and tougher coat is required and allowed.
SilaClear
Hydrophobic Surface Treatment Solution
SilaClear is a one-component user-friendly, surface treatment system for smooth surfaces such as glass and glazed ceramic. It chemically modifies the surface, providing hydrophobic surface properties. The high level of water repellency is very effective on automotive or marine windshields. The repellant properties are also very effective in colder climates as the treatment allows easier de-icing. The new surface functionality allows easy cleaning without aggressive cleaning agents. A wet cloth is generally sufficient.
